REPUBLICA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – The Chairman of the Cipinang Central Market Rice Traders Cooperative (PIBC) Zulkifli Rasyid stated that the trading conditions for rice in Cipinang are starting to stabilize again. He mentioned that prices are beginning to decrease as the supply gradually improves. “Alhamdulillah, it seems that the Cipinang Central Market has started to become conducive, prices have begun to creep down. Hopefully, it can continue to improve going forward,” said Zulkifli, Monday (18/8/2025). According to Zulkifli, the scarcity of rice in several modern retailers has had a positive impact on traders in PIBC because buying and selling activities at the central market have increased. However, he emphasized that the dynamics of the national rice market must be viewed comprehensively, from production to distribution.
