In Kahramanmaraş, the milking period has begun for the natural highland honeys, with a harvest of over 10,000 tons expected this year.

The honeys produced in the highlands are filtered under a union umbrella in hygienic conditions and delivered to consumers, with this year's harvest expected to exceed 10,000 tons. Producers rejoiced in the high harvest after a long period of low yield. Niyazi Saygıner, President of the Kahramanmaraş Beekeepers Association and a producer, stated that the honeys are brought from the highlands and filtered under appropriate conditions, saying, "Producers who cannot afford it set up tents in the highlands to milk, while those who can bring it to the city center and filter their honey under hygienic conditions. We store our honeys in accordance with cold food conditions. This year, the harvest is in quite good condition, and our producers are pleased."
