REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Perum Bulog absorbed dried paddy from a four-hectare plot seized by the Attorney General's Office in Srimahi Village, Tambun Utara, Bekasi, West Java, on Tuesday (19/8/2025). The President Director of Perum Bulog, Ahmad Rizal Ramdhani, stated that each hectare has the potential to produce seven tons of dried paddy. Bulog purchased at the government purchase price (HPP) of Rp 6,500 per kilogram. “Alhamdulillah, we have absorbed these four hectares directly. I have instructed the West Java Regional Head to immediately absorb the remaining land, around 300 hectares,” said Ahmad Rizal. Bulog's action is part of the Independent Prosecutor Food Harvest Program, a pilot project utilizing state-seized assets for agriculture. This program is a synergy between the Attorney General's Office, the Ministry of Agriculture, PT Pupuk Indonesia, and Bulog.
