After the 45-day fattening period, and with an average weight of 3 kilos, about 160,000 birds arrive by truck each day at Fadel's cold storage plant, located on a dirt road between Villa Elisa and Pronunciamiento, in Entre Ríos. The plant is not very old, it is one of the last ones built by the poultry sector. And therefore, it is also one of the most modern. Following strict quality and safety standards, in this facility the chickens are processed into various commercial products, ranging from whole chicken to chopped chicken ready to go to both local and export markets.
