Medical staff confirmed that the number of those affected included: 15 children who underwent comprehensive examinations and immediate care, and 7 women who were transferred to specialized departments to complete the approved treatment protocols. In light of the incident that stirred the local community, an immediate decision was made to close the cafeteria suspected of causing this incident. Security agencies also moved to arrest the owner of the establishment for questioning, while health teams collected samples and models of the food and foodstuffs used and sent them to central laboratories to determine the causes of the poisoning and the reasons for it.
