Panennews.com – The Ministry of Agriculture has begun distributing superior, certified sugarcane seeds developed by the Datar Seed Garden (KBD) as part of efforts to increase national sugarcane productivity and strengthen the foundation of national sugar self-sufficiency. The distribution of seeds is carried out with partner planters to support the development of smallholder sugarcane plantations in several regions. The initial distribution has been carried out since the first week of June 2026. AAS variety sugarcane seeds from KBD have begun to be distributed to farmers for the development of plantations covering 118 hectares or equivalent to 7.08 million seed pieces.
