REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, SEMARANG - Minister of Agriculture Andi Amran Sulaiman mentioned that rice prices in 13 provinces have recorded a decrease. He revealed that the operations of the Rice Supply and Food Price Stabilization Market (SPHP) have had a positive impact on the reduction of these rice prices. “Alhamdulillah we see the SPHP market operations which now distribute 6,000 tons daily. We target to increase to 7,000 tons and then to 10,000 tons per day. This has already had a good impact on lowering prices in 13 provinces, maybe already 15 provinces have seen price reductions. This is very good for all of us,” said Minister Amran while inspecting the Bulu Market, Semarang, Central Java, on Saturday (23/8/2025).
