"Hotter and colder" Goesan Gochu Festival opens next month on the 4th

The festival, themed "More Hot, More Cool," will feature events such as the Golden Pepper Search, the Ultimate Spicy Pepper Contest, a Surprise Pepper Auction, and a Cool-down Dance Party. Additionally, the festival will include activities like Catching Pepper Fish, the Goesan Spicy Pepper Contest, the 10th Youth Festival, a Pepper Bibimbap Tasting Event, and the Organic Goesan Song Festival. At the festival site, dried peppers produced in each township will also be sold. Based on a weight of 600 grams, stemless dried peppers are sold for 19,000 won, and those with stems are sold for 17,000 won. A county official said, "We will do our best to make the festival a place where tourists can enjoy and buy Goesan's premium specialty, dried peppers."
