Kazakh Wheat Successfully Transported to Vietnam via China

This is another important achievement of Kazakh grain achieving long-distance export through multimodal transportation. The export took place between May and July, with a total of 8 trains dispatched from stations including Azat Station, Akkol Station, and Kokshetau Station in Akmola Oblast. These trains entered China through the Dostyk and Altynkol border crossings and ultimately reached Vietnam. It is worth noting that on June 18 this year, the first batch of wheat trains arrived at the Lianyungang port in China, marking the official opening of the multimodal grain transportation corridor to Vietnam. It is understood that this batch of wheat was exported by the Kazakh Grain Contract Group (Grain Group), with high-grade grain quality. Since the beginning of 2025, the Grain Group has exported 196,000 tons of grain products, with primary export markets including North Africa, Southeast Asia, and Iran.
