As part of the Agricultural and Forestry Ministry's studies on Plant Production Planning, a harvest was carried out on canola planted experimentally in the Söke district of Aydın. Successful results in terms of yield and quality have been achieved with the canola, and it is aimed to spread it as an alternative crop in the region's agriculture. As part of the Plant Production Planning studies carried out by the Agricultural and Forestry Ministry, a trial planting of canola was conducted in the Söke district of Aydın with the aim of including it in the basin crop pattern. The harvest of the canola plant, which was planted in an area of 156 decares in Söke in the 2026 production season, yielded positive results in terms of yield and quality.
