In Ukraine, bread prices may increase, and the cost of fuel is likely to push prices up, according to the chief consultant of the National Institute for Strategic Studies, Ivan Us, as reported by Novyny.LIVE. According to him, the stabilization of the currency exchange rate will contribute to a decrease in import prices, while the main factor affecting the cost of products, particularly bread, will be fuel. The expert believes that a loaf of bread will rise to 55 hryvnias. Currently, 450 grams of sliced "Rumianets" bread costs 27.90 hryvnias. Meanwhile, a package of 600-650 grams of sliced wheat bread will cost 42.99 to 44.72 hryvnias. As for 300 grams of rye "Borodinskoe" bread, it will cost an average of 44.90 hryvnias. It should be noted that in August, the average purchase price of milk in Ukraine increased by 70 kopecks compared to the previous month.
