The Japanese shipyard Kitanihon Shipbuilding delivered the refrigerated vessel "Snow Flake" to the Japanese shipowner Nissen Kaiun at the end of June. The ship is the second in a series of seven such vessels being built for Japanese shipowners and will operate under charter contracts with Cool Carriers, Alphaliner reported. The ship follows the "Snow Flower" (pictured), delivered in March, while the remaining five are scheduled to be delivered by 2028. The "Snow Flake" has a cargo capacity of 638,000 cubic feet and can carry up to 100 refrigerated 40-foot containers. The vessel is 158 meters in length, 28 meters in width, and is equipped with four cranes for loading and unloading operations.
