Apurímac: Chicken breeding strengthened in communities of Coyllurqui

The Coyllurqui District Municipality's Economic Development Department has distributed supplies and materials to enhance chicken farming in the communities of Sijahui, Yadqurí, and Acpitan. The supplies include yellow corn, soybean meal, balanced feed for laying hens, chicken waterers and feeders, and a veterinary supply kit. This initiative is part of the project 'Improving productive capacities in laying hen farming for commercialization and improving nutrition' which aims to support families in vulnerable situations and improve child nutrition. The project also includes training, technical advice, and the construction of breeding modules.

The Economic Development Department of the Coyllurqui District Municipality, in the province of Cotabambas, Apurímac region, delivered supplies and materials to promote technologically advanced chicken farming in the communities of Sijahui, Yadqurí, and Acpitan. The supplies delivered included whole yellow corn, soybean meal for animals, and balanced feed for laying hens. In addition, chicken waterers and feeders were distributed, as well as a veterinary supply kit containing antibiotics and vitamins, to ensure optimal bird growth. This delivery was made within the framework of the project "Improving productive capacities in laying hen farming for commercialization and improving nutrition in the communities of Acpitan, Yadqurí, and Sijahui in the Coyllurqui district, Cotabambas province, Apurímac region."
