At Fresh Produce Group (FPG) we source and market the best of New Zealand’s fresh fruit and vegetables to global markets, providing a vital link between local growers and international buyers.

We work closely with our suppliers, investing the time to understand their business and products to ensure that we meet their needs and that of our customers. We aim to provide a seamless service to both and deliver quality to our customers.

Our select range of suppliers provide us with products that we export to Asia, North America and Australia. Whilst our key focus is New Zealand produce, we also understand the need for our buyers to have a year round supply of products, so we also supply fruit from Australia and South America to our buyers in Asia and North America.

Established in 2009 by Russell Faulkner, Mark Tavendale and Ross Moffatt, FPG has rapidly grown into a market leader in the New Zealand fresh produce export industry through innovation, flexibility and strong relationships.

We are committed to building long-lasting relationships with our growers and buyers through collaboration, mutual trust and transparency, and to become your number one choice of produce exporter in New Zealand.

Whilst produce has been our core focus, our business has also evolved to include other related products including Blackcurrant extract in various forms for use in the pharmaceutical and food industry; and we are also the New Zealand agent for the Micro Controlled Atmosphere System. Our latest venture is the launch of Sea Fresh Trading Co. exporting seafood to the Pacific Rim.

FPG are licensed exporters of Blackcurrants, Summer fruit and Tamarillo’s, and also hold a collaborative marketing license to export KiwiBerry.

FPG is located in Tauranga, the economic hub of the Bay of Plenty and one of New Zealand’s fastest growing cities; it is also home to the Port of Tauranga, the country’s largest export port.
