- Company established in 2001 in El Jocotillo Valley, Guatemala. - Dedicated to providing high quality tropical fruits for local and international clients. - Exporter of MD2 pineapple, Keitt mango and Pink guava. - Member of Guatemala Exporters Association (AGEXPORT). -Run by the Barillas family and founded by the Guatemalan entrepreneur and visionary Edgar Barillas Cabrera (1927-2012). -The Durantas-Group preserves a long tradition and experience in the cultivation of: Golden Sweet Pineapple. Keitt Mango, and Pink Guava. These elements together with their experienced and hard working personnel makes them a very solid enterprise that achieves its aims day by day, thus providing their customers with high quality products that they demand and deserve. -According to the company, there are 50 Hectares of Pineapple (MD2) plantation, capable of producing aprox. 4,000MT a year. If necessary, they can expand the production. -The farm has a packing plant for cleaning, classification and selection of products. It can pack and load two 40 'containers in a full day shift, according to information from the chief engineer. -The location of the farm has access to the main routes for any of the ports for export
