I established Chien Thang Ltd, trading as Zenian Organic in 2006 as an importer of certified organic food products for retail sale here in New Zealand.

Today Zenian Organic offers for export:

• Zenstate, a blended oil of black cumin, pumpkin, and olive oils

• Zenchoc, a range of dark chocolates

Zenstate

Zenstate is a unique blended oil made from black cumin and pumpkin seed and international award-winning olive oils.

Black cumin seed, pumpkin, and olive oil each have renowned heart disease and cancer-fighting properties.

Together they form a powerhouse blend to help people overcome these health problems. They are an adjunctive health supplement.

Zenstate uses an internationally recognized, award-winning olive oil of the Picual variety. Picual has significant quantities of hydroxytyrosol, the main benefactor for people with heart and cancer health problems.

Because New Zealand sourced pumpkin and olive oils are in strictly limited supply, this puts a limit on what can be supplied in any one year.

Zenchoc

Gavin Giles, a talented New Plymouth city chocolatier, formulated and created Zenchoc with ingredients that are not typically used in chocolate making. His dark chocolate range includes:

• Black cumin seed oil chocolate – beautifully subtle product with slightly pungent undertones

• New Zealand manuka honey chocolate – rich, enticing product with varied honey flavours of manuka flowers

• Philippine creamed coconut aka coconut butter – luscious, rounded delectable chocolate
