The Honduran cocoa industry is on the rise, with expected revenue exceeding 200 million lempiras this year.

According to a report by Honduras' "Forum Newspaper" on the 7th, Ayala pointed out that the northwestern region has become the core production area for high-quality aromatic cocoa, with about 1,590 cocoa producers forming multiple associations, covering a cocoa planting area of 1,800 hectares, with an annual output of approximately 900 tons. Nationwide, it is estimated that this year's cocoa production will exceed 1,500 tons, significantly enhancing Honduras' competitiveness in the global market.
