Processing enterprises are once again raising prices for sunflower after a prolonged decline

A slight increase in sunflower prices has been recorded in the Ukrainian market. This was facilitated by fluctuations in the currency market, as well as strengthening of sunflower oil prices at ports. APK-Inform reports. Notably, a week ago, sunflower prices experienced a slight dip in anticipation of the new harvest. Processors' prices for old crop sunflower were mainly within the range of 25,200-25,800 UAH/t CPT-enterprise. Currently, a slight increase has been observed. "Procurement prices of processing enterprises mainly varied within the range of 25,800-26,400 UAH/t CPT, however, in general, demand prices started from 25,000 UAH/t CPT," analysts commented. Trading pace in the market remained stable, but due to a decline in oil sector prices, volatility is also expected in the sunflower market.
