Farmers in Cherkasy region received nearly UAH 50 million in compensation for agricultural machinery.

Last year, farmers in Cherkasy region received nearly UAH 50 million in compensation for purchasing domestically manufactured agricultural machinery and equipment. In total, under the program, they submitted 297 applications for 477 units of machinery. This was reported by Suspilne Cherkasy, citing Roman Kosenko, director of the Department of Agricultural Development at the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration. The state program provides for reimbursement of 25% of the cost of purchased Ukrainian-made machinery and equipment included on the official list maintained by the Ministry of Economy. According to the official, the total cost of equipment purchased by farmers in the region was about UAH 150 million.
