21 tons of Yingkou Sunshine Rose were exported to Central Asia for the first time

Yingkou Sunshine Rose grapes, totaling 21 tons, have been exported to Kyrgyzstan for the first time to Central Asian countries, marking a milestone. Originating from Yingkou City, Liaoning Province, known for its favorable climate for grape cultivation, these grapes have been exported to over 10 countries and regions since 2024. In collaboration with Bayuquan Customs, they have exported 127,600 tons of local specialty fruits, including apples and grapes, to countries building the 'Belt and Road' since 2024, with a total value of 865 million yuan.

Recently, under the supervision of Bayuquan Customs under Dalian Customs, 21 tons of Yingkou Sunshine Rose grapes were loaded and shipped, and exported to Kyrgyzstan via Xinjiang Tacheng Port by land transportation. It is reported that this is the first time that Yingkou grapes have been exported to Central Asian countries. Yingkou City, Liaoning Province is located in the warm temperate subhumid climate zone, with distinct four seasons, sufficient sunlight and suitable rainfall, which is very suitable for grape growth. At present, the grape planting area in Yingkou area is about 176,000 mu, with an annual output of 317,500 tons.
